Blog: Thinking about teaching

My blog posts are my practical philosophical reflections about teaching and being a teacher, mostly in the context of Higher Education and broader academic practice. These posts chart the development of my ‘practitioner-theories’ which are intended to be useful for the practice of teaching and learning. In each post I try to refine what I think about some aspect of teaching, to ‘reverse engineer’ what I do, and to offer advice and support for other teachers. The posts are a chance for me to clarify my thoughts, and a chance to extend my work in academic development by providing informal support for academic staff.
